Simple Soccer's Player Development DVD is an exciting new DVD aimed at all soccer players of all abilities who want to take there game to that higher level!
When the game of soccer is taken to a more advanced level, the amount of time a player has on the ball becomes much less. Therefore a players first touch and control is the key to playing at the highest level. A great first touch will create more time on the ball. Watch any professional game and note the importantance of the first touch and control.

This DVD will work on confidence with the ball and improve eye/feet co-ordination. The aim of each exercise is to work on the players first touch and control and create muscle memory to create a better all-round soccer player.
Simple Soccer Player Development was created by Professional coach Dean Jacobs who has represented professional and Amateaur teams in England and America.

Dean has found a flaw in the development of recreational youth soccer player's in America....it was simple to see, although the coaches are doing a great job at the practices there isn't enough self teaching and personal development going on outside of the players structured practice. often the players soccer ball will go back into the bag until the next practice session. players simply aren't touching the ball outside of the 1 or 2 practice sessions a week.
With careful planning Dean has devised a way to get kids to touch the ball thousands of times outside of practice and leap ahead with their soccer skills. This is where the player coaching aid of Simple Soccer's Player Development DVD was born.
The Soccer Player Development DVD features over 35 Essential skills to master with demonstrations and a talk through of every skill, as well as slow-motion close ups, and skill reviews. Each player development skills excersise is graded with a difficulty level from 1 to 4. 1 being an easy excersise to perform and 4 being very difficult and will require hard practise. We suggest players work their way through the difficulty levels.

So exactly how do we get the kids to practice more?
At the beggining of the season each kid in the team or region should be given an individual copy of Simple Soccer's Player Development DVD. As a coach (right from the first practise session of the season) at the end of each coaching session you ask your players to practice two or three of the skills from the DVD a week as homework. The skills can all be performed in the smallest of area's or even in front of the TV. All the skills are individually numbered from 1-38 so you can let your players know which numbered skills to practice. Let them know they are required to practice each skill for 10 minutes every evening as part of their 'Soccer Homework'.
At the beggining of the next practice session get the players to spend 5 to 10 minutes when they first arrive demonstrating the homework excercises. This will be a great warm up but the main aim is that this will ensure players touch the ball thousands of times outside of their structured practice... the real key to the development of youth soccer players.
Watch the player's and region grow through the aid of the coaches and the assistance of Simple Soccer's Player Development DVD!
